Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Account Officer to maintain financial records, manage daily accounting transactions, prepare reports, handle reconciliations, and support budgeting, audits, and tax compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and good organizational skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
  • Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
  • Perform bank, cash, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports.
  • Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and applicable tax requirements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality of financial information.
  • Perform other finance-related duties assigned by management.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Professional accounting qualification or partial qualification (ACCA/CA/CPA) will be an advantage.
