Job Description
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Staff Associate plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This role involves managing inventory, assisting with shipping and receiving, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring that goods are stored and distributed efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically fit, and has a proactive attitude to support smooth warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle receiving, storing and shipping products and accurately inspecting goods for quantity and quality.
- Organize and stock goods in designated warehouse locations, ensuring that items are stored securely and efficiently.
- Accurately pick and pack orders based on customer or internal requirements, following company guidelines.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and help maintain accurate records of all stock.
- Assist in preparing shipments, creating labels, and maintaining up-to-date records of outgoing items.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and support the implementation of new warehouse processes.
Job Specification
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, Preferably Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or related environment is preferred, freshers are encouraged to apply
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety standards and procedures
- Ability to lift and move objects as needed
- Proficiency in basic computer skills; experience with warehouse software or ERP systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Commitment to safety and accuracy in handling warehouse tasks.
