Newlook Beauty is looking for a Civil Engineer who can handle the planning, design, and development of factory infrastructure and facilities. The ideal candidate should have experience in industrial/factory building design, including both internal and external layouts, and should be able to coordinate construction and related engineering works from design through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review internal and external designs/layouts for factory buildings and facilities.
- Develop factory floor plans, space utilization plans, office areas, production areas, storage, utility areas, and other required facilities.
- Prepare site development, external works, access roads, drainage, parking, landscaping, and utility layouts.
- Prepare and review civil engineering drawings, plans, BOQs, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits and assess site conditions before and during construction.
- Monitor civil construction work to ensure compliance with approved designs, quality standards, timelines, and specifications.
- Identify design or construction issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Coordinate modifications and improvements to existing factory infrastructure when required.
- Assist in obtaining necessary approvals, permits, and documentation from relevant authorities.
- Prepare progress reports and maintain proper project documentation.
- Support management in planning and implementing new factory expansion and development projects.
