Job Purpose
The HR & Administration Officer will be responsible for supporting and managing human resource and administrative functions at the Hetauda plant. The role ensures smooth workforce operations, compliance with labor laws, effective attendance and payroll coordination, and overall administrative support in a factory/manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resource Functions
Handle day-to-day HR operations including recruitment support, onboarding, and employee documentation.
Maintain employee records, HR files, and personnel databases accurately.
Support performance management, employee engagement, and workplace discipline processes.
Attendance & Leave Management
Monitor daily attendance, shift records, and leave tracking for plant employees.
Ensure accurate reporting of attendance data for payroll processing.
Payroll Coordination
Coordinate with accounts/finance team for payroll preparation and salary processing.
Assist in managing overtime, allowances, deductions, and benefits administration.
Labor Law Compliance
Ensure compliance with Nepal labor laws, factory regulations, and company HR policies.
Support management in handling employee grievances and labor-related issues.
Administration & Coordination
Manage administrative activities including office supplies, facility support, and plant-level coordination.
Assist in organizing staff welfare programs, trainings, and internal communications.
Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth operational workflow.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare HR reports related to manpower, attendance, leave, and employee status.
Support audits and inspections related to HR and administration.
Job Specification
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of experience in HR/Admin functions.
Factory or manufacturing background is highly preferred.
