Bagaicha Fine Dining is looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Chef de Partie (Senior CDP) to join The Himalayan Kitchen, our premium Nepali restaurant showcasing authentic Nepali flavors with refined presentation and contemporary dining standards.

Position: Senior Chef de Partie (Senior CDP)

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise the assigned kitchen section efficiently during daily operations.
  • Prepare and present authentic Nepali dishes consistently according to Bagaicha’s quality and presentation standards.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, plating, and food quality.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen safety.
  • Monitor mise en place, food preparation, and section readiness before and during service.
  • Coordinate effectively with the Sous Chef, CDPs, Commis Chefs, and other kitchen team members.
  • Monitor stock levels and minimize food wastage through proper portion control and handling.
  • Support menu development, recipe standardization, and introduction of new Nepali dishes when required.
  • Train and guide junior kitchen team members.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of ingredients in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and discipline within the assigned section.
  • Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie / Senior CDP in a reputable restaurant, hotel, or fine-dining establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of Nepali cuisine, including traditional dishes, ingredients, cooking techniques, and presentation.
  • Experience working in a high-volume or premium/fine-dining kitchen will be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen procedures.
  • Good leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to culinary excellence.
  • Ability to manage an assigned section independently.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts / Hotel Management or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant kitchen experience, with experience at CDP level or above preferred.
  • Candidates with strong practical experience in Nepali cuisine will be given preference.
