Job Description
Role Description This full-time, on-site BARISTA/SERVER role is based in Kathmandu. The BARISTA/SERVER is responsible for preparing coffee and other beverages, assisting with basic food preparation, and serving items to guests in a timely and professional manner. Daily tasks include taking orders, operating coffee machines and other equipment, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The role also involves greeting guests, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring that customer needs are met throughout their visit. The BARISTA/SERVER works closely with other team members to support smooth service during peak hours and to uphold health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage with guests and support a welcoming environment.
- Candidates should possess Barista skills, including preparing espresso-based drinks and operating coffee equipment.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to take orders accurately and coordinate with team members.
- Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills for handling ingredients, assembling menu items, and following hygiene standards.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in a café or restaurant, basic cash handling skills, the ability to stand for extended periods, and flexibility to work weekends, mornings, or evenings as needed.
