Role Description The Social Media Video Presenter is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. This role involves presenting on camera for short-form educational and promotional videos across social media platforms, including scripting or co-developing talking points and delivering clear, engaging messages. The presenter will collaborate with the marketing and counseling teams to create content that informs prospective students about studying in the USA and UK, Murphy Education’s services, and success stories. Day-to-day tasks include participating in video shoots, rehearsing scripts, maintaining a professional and approachable on-screen presence, and supporting basic content planning for social channels. The role may also involve engaging with audiences through live streams, Q&A sessions, and occasional events or seminars to promote Murphy Education’s brand and services.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong on-camera presentation, public speaking, and clear verbal communication skills.
  • Candidates should possess skills in basic scriptwriting, content planning, and storytelling for short-form video content.
  • Candidates should possess familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, Facebook) and an understanding of audience engagement.
  • Candidates should possess a professional demeanor, confident body language, and the ability to adapt tone and style to different video formats.
  • Candidates should possess strong English language skills; proficiency in Nepali and other languages is an added advantage.
  • Candidates should possess the ability to work closely with creative, marketing, and counseling teams and respond positively to feedback and direction.
  • Candidates should possess interest or experience in education consulting, international study pathways, or student counseling as a plus.
  • Candidates should ideally have prior experience in content creation, vlogging, media, performing arts, or a related field; a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience is beneficial.
