Job Description
Role Description The Social Media Content Creator is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across social media platforms in line with J&K’s brand voice and client objectives. Day-to-day tasks include drafting posts, capturing and editing photos or short videos, and designing basic graphics. The role involves monitoring social media performance and coordinating with internal teams to align content with broader marketing and strategic goals. The Social Media Content Creator also keeps track of trends, competitors, and platform updates to recommend improvements and new content ideas.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in social media content creation, including writing clear, engaging captions and adapting tone for different platforms.
- Ability to plan and organize content calendars, including basic strategy for campaigns and regular posting.
- Familiarity with visual content tools (e.g., CapCut, basic photo/video editing software) to produce platform-ready assets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Kathmandu, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation is preferred.
- Relevant education in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field is beneficial, though equivalent experience is also valued.
