The company focuses on practical, results-driven HR support that aligns with business goals.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Kathmandu. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing interior concepts, creating detailed layouts, and preparing design presentations for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed accurately. The role also involves producing construction drawings, reviewing site work for quality and design compliance, and communicating with clients to understand requirements, provide design solutions, and incorporate feedback. The Interior Designer is expected to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adhere to budget and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills for functional and aesthetic project solutions.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Architecture and the ability to collaborate effectively with architectural and engineering teams.
- Candidates should possess experience in preparing accurate Construction Drawings and technical documentation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in FF&E selection, including materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment coordination.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Candidates should possess strong visualization, presentation, and client communication skills.
- Candidates should possess the ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and work effectively on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
- A diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, and prior experience in interior design projects, are preferred.
