This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end video production process, including planning, editing, and final delivery of video content for various platforms. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, editing video sequences, applying transitions and effects, and synchronizing audio and visuals to align with brand guidelines and project objectives. The Senior Video Editor will perform color grading, create or integrate motion graphics, and collaborate with creative, marketing, and client teams to ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines. This role may also mentor junior editors, contribute to concept development, and suggest improvements to workflows and tools to enhance overall production efficiency.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing to handle end-to-end project workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and professional visual aesthetics.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging visual elements and overlays.
- Experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) is highly beneficial.
- Strong storytelling ability, attention to detail, and understanding of pacing, composition, and sound design are important.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is required.
- Prior experience in a senior or lead video editing role, preferably in a BPO, media, or digital agency environment, is an advantage.
- A relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
