Role Description This is a full-time NCLEX Instructor role based in Kathmandu with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work from home. The NCLEX Instructor will design and deliver high-quality NCLEX preparation classes, including lectures, discussions, and practice sessions aligned with current exam standards.


Daily responsibilities include developing lesson plans, creating and updating teaching materials, assigning and reviewing practice questions, and monitoring learner progress through assessments and feedback. The role also includes maintaining accurate records of learner performance, and participating in continuous improvement of the NCLEX training curriculum.


Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of NCLEX-RN/PN exam content areas, including nursing fundamentals, medical-surgical nursing, pharmacology, pediatrics, maternity, and mental health.
  • Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or clinical mentoring, preferably in NCLEX preparation or nursing education.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Ability to create structured lesson plans, practice tests, and learning resources, and to use learner performance data to guide instruction.
  • Comfort with hybrid teaching environments, including use of online learning platforms, video conferencing tools, and digital content.
  • BSc Nursing/BN or equivalent)Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent professional nursing qualification; NCLEX success and/or teaching certification is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to learner success and academic integrity.
  • Willingness to collaborate with colleagues, adapt to curriculum changes, and engage in ongoing professional development.
