Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Semi-Qualified CA role based in Kathmandu. The role involves assisting in planning and executing statutory and internal audits, including testing controls, reviewing financial records, Statutory Return filling & consulting to clients for the same , and preparing working papers and audit documentation. The Semi-Qualified CA will support the preparation and review of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings in line with applicable accounting and auditing standards. Day-to-day work includes performing tax computations, assisting with tax planning and compliance, and supporting advisory engagements related to risk management and corporate governance. The role also requires coordination with clients, maintaining clear documentation, meeting deadlines, and working closely with senior team members to ensure quality and accuracy in all deliverables.
Qualifications
- Progress toward Chartered Accountancy qualification (Semi-Qualified CA), with strong knowledge of accounting, auditing, and taxation principles.
- Experience or training in statutory audits, internal audits, and preparation of financial statements and working papers.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance, local tax laws, and corporate governance practices in Nepal.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting or audit software; ability to analyze financial data and prepare clear reports.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately under deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to work on-site in Kathmandu, collaborate in a team environment, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Prior internship or work experience in a CA firm or audit/advisory environment is an advantage.
