Position: Technical Business Analys

We are looking for a talented and motivated Technical Business Analyst to join our product development team. You will work closely with Designers, Developers, QA Engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for our AI-powered SaaS platform, which spans a people ecosystem of Recruitment, Payroll & HRMS, Chat, Drive, and AI Assistant products. There is no dedicated Product Manager function in our company, so this role owns product-related decisions directly and may also act as Scrum Master for the team when required. 

You will contribute throughout the product lifecycle—from research and requirement discovery, through GAP analysis and MoSCoW prioritization, to producing detailed technical documentation for the development team. The ideal candidate combines solid business analysis experience with hands-on programming exposure, sound knowledge of AI and automation, and comfort working with both technical and non-technical teams. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Conduct research, GAP analysis, and MoSCoW (Must have, Should have, Could have, Won’t have) prioritization to define scope and close feature gaps across the people ecosystem suite (Recruitment/ATS, Payroll, HRMS, Chat, Drive, AI Assistant). 
• Gather, analyze, and document business and product requirements from clients, users, and internal stakeholders. 
• Translate requirements into user stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and development tasks. 
• Define and document workflows, business rules, system behavior, edge cases, and user journeys, including tenant management/multi-tenancy, subscription and billing tiers, system optimization and performance, and SLA compliance. 
• Prepare detailed technical documents for the development team covering all edge cases: multi-tenancy and data isolation, subscription lifecycle and billing, performance and optimization, SLA and uptime commitments, failover and scalability, rate limiting, upgrade/downgrade paths, data migration, and third-party integrations. 
• Work closely with UI/UX Designers, Developers, and QA Engineers throughout the product lifecycle; step in as Scrum Master when needed — facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. 
• Collaborate with technical teams to understand APIs, databases, integrations, third-party services, AI/ML capabilities, and technical limitations. 
• Review requirements with development and QA teams to ensure they are feasible, clear, and testable. 
• Support development and testing by clarifying requirements and resolving functional questions. 
• Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, feature specifications, technical design documents, and release documentation. 
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation — including LLM-based features and AI Assistant capabilities — to improve product functionality and efficiency. 
• Help prioritize features using MoSCoW and similar frameworks based on business value, customer needs, technical feasibility, and product goals. 
• Analyze user feedback and product usage to identify improvements, automation opportunities, and new product capabilities. 
• Support product roadmap planning and communicate requirements, changes, priorities, and dependencies across teams. 

Key Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, BIM, or BCIS. 
• 1+ years of hands-on programming/software development experience. 
• 2+ years of experience in Technical Business Analysis, Business Analysis, or a similar technical analyst role. 
• Sound knowledge of AI and automation; working experience on an AI-based SaaS project is a plus. 
• Experience working with SaaS, web-based, or software products. 
• Strong understanding of software development and product development lifecycles and Agile/Scrum methodologies; ability to act as Scrum Master when required. 
• Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical/product documentation. 
• Good understanding of web applications, APIs, databases, integrations, and third-party services. 
• Comfortable working with developers and understanding technical discussions without necessarily being a full-time software developer. 
• Understanding of SaaS concepts such as multi-tenancy/tenant management, user roles and permissions, subscriptions, billing, SLAs, notifications, and product workflows. 
• Ability to perform GAP analysis and MoSCoW prioritization. 
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Notion, or similar platforms. 
• Ability to identify functional gaps, usability issues, and opportunities for product improvement. 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and presentation skills. 
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, ownership, and ability to manage multiple priorities. 

Good to Have 

• Working experience on an AI-based SaaS project or an AI-driven people ecosystem platform (Recruitment, Payroll, HRMS, Chat, Drive, AI Assistant). 
• Knowledge of different LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama) and an understanding of token economy and usage/cost optimization. 
• Experience with prompt engineering or designing AI/automation-driven workflows. 
• Understanding subscription-based business models, pricing, and SaaS product metrics. 
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts. 
• Experience with REST APIs and Postman. 
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 
• Experience with product analytics tools such as PostHog, Google Analytics, or similar platforms. 
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and user journey mapping. 
• Experience with third-party integrations, including payment gateways, communication services, authentication providers, and external APIs.
