Position Overview

We're hiring two Product Associates / Business Analysts to sit at the intersection of business requirements and product design across our group of platforms — FigsFlow, Ledgian, and RentalBux. This role is for someone early in their career who can read and internalise detailed business requirement documents (BRDs, PRDs, architecture notes), translate them into structured product thinking, and directly assist in prototyping web app interfaces.

You won't be doing back-office admin. From day one, you'll be working alongside product owners and engineers on real platform decisions — reviewing requirement documents, mapping out user flows, and building or contributing to interactive prototypes that shape how our accounting, tax, and fintech products actually look and work.

This is a launchpad role: strong performers will be given increasing ownership over specific product areas and a clear path toward a permanent Business Analyst or Product Associate position.

What You'll Do

Requirement Analysis

•      Read and break down business requirement documents, PRDs, and architecture notes in detail — identifying scope, edge cases, open questions, and dependencies.

•      Translate business and stakeholder requirements into clear, structured artifacts: user stories, flow diagrams, acceptance criteria, and feature specs that engineering and design can act on.

•      Ask the right clarifying questions when a requirement is ambiguous or incomplete, rather than assuming.

•      Maintain traceability between what was requested, what was documented, and what gets built.

UI/UX Prototyping Support

•      Assist in designing and prototyping user interfaces for web applications based on approved requirements — wireframes, low-fidelity mockups, and clickable prototypes.

•      Work with design and engineering to ensure prototypes reflect the actual business logic (not just visual polish) — e.g. correct field validations, state transitions, and workflow gating.

•      Iterate on prototypes based on internal stakeholder feedback before they're handed to engineering for build.

•      Maintain a working knowledge of the design system/component library used across our products, applying it consistently.

Cross-functional Coordination

•      Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, designers, and engineers — making sure requirements don't get lost or distorted in translation.

•      Sit in on requirement walkthroughs and design reviews, taking structured notes and following up on action items.

•      Track open questions, decisions made, and rationale, so context isn't lost between meetings and build.

Documentation & Process

•      Keep requirement documents, prototype files, and decision logs organised and up to date.

•      Support the creation of internal documentation — process flows, feature one-pagers, and onboarding material for new team members.

•      Contribute to improving how requirements are captured and handed off, flagging recurring gaps or friction in the process.

What We Need

•      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering, or Business/Management, or another discipline — degree subject is flexible; what matters is demonstrated business acumen and analytical thinking.

•      0–1 year of relevant experience (internships, coursework projects, freelance work, or personal projects all count).

•      Genuine interest in UI/UX design for web applications — even informal exposure (personal projects, coursework, self-taught exploration) is welcome.

•      Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail — able to sit with a dense requirement document and extract what actually matters.

•      Clear written and verbal communication in English — you'll be documenting requirements and discussing them with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

•      Basic structured/logical thinking — comfortable breaking a vague business problem into concrete, checkable pieces.

•      Willingness to learn prototyping tools on the job — no prior tool proficiency required, but a fast learning curve is expected.

•      Comfortable working in ambiguity and asking questions rather than guessing.

Nice to Have

•      Any prior exposure to Figma, wireframing tools, or no-code prototyping platforms.

•      Basic understanding of how web applications are structured (pages, forms, data flow) — doesn't need to be from a technical background, just conceptual familiarity.

•      Interest in fintech, accounting, or tax domains (you'll be working on products in this space, though no prior domain knowledge is required).

•      Experience with documentation tools (Notion, Confluence, or similar).

•      Any exposure to Agile/Scrum ways of working.
