Job Description
OntaTrip is looking for an experienced Senior Ticketing Officer to join our growing team in Kathmandu.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day airline reservations and ticketing operations
- Handle fare quotations, ticket issuance, reissue, refund, void and cancellation requests
- Assist clients and B2B partners with travel-related queries and booking support
- Monitor fare changes, airline policies and ticketing conditions
- Coordinate with airlines, GDS providers and internal teams when required
- Handle complex booking issues and provide timely solutions
- Maintain accurate PNRs, ticketing records and daily sales reports
- Support the team in achieving sales and service targets
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in airline ticketing or travel agency operations
- Hands-on experience with Amadeus, Sabre & Galileo platforms
- Good knowledge of domestic and international airfares and fare rules
- Experience in ticketing, reissue, refund, cancellation and PNR handling
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills
- Good sales ability with a target-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Experience with B2B travel agencies will be an added advantage
- Travel & Tourism qualification is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with strong relevant experience
