Job Description
We are looking for an Associate Motion Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong design foundation, understand motion design principles and bring ideas to life through animation and storytelling. This role requires someone who is passionate about design, has a keen eye for detail, and can translate complex concepts into simple, beautiful motion graphics for our SAAS product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality motion graphics, animations, and video content for SAAS product features, marketing campaigns, and social media.
- Apply design and animation principles to deliver smooth transitions, match cuts, and compelling storytelling.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and UI/UX teams to conceptualize and implement motion solutions.
- Design visual elements using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Animate sequences using Adobe After Effects, and edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Maintain brand consistency in typography, color, and overall visual language.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and tools in motion design and animation.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Strong foundation in Animation Principles, Motion Design Principles, Design Principles, Transition & Match Cut Principles, Color Theory, and Typography Principles.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and either Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Ability to work on SAAS product-related motion design, including product tours, explainer videos, and UI animations.
- Strong portfolio showcasing motion design projects, animations, and design work.
- Minimum 1 year of professional work experience in motion design or a related field.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative mindset.
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
