Role Description: The Multi-Destination Abroad Study Education Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in Butwal. The counsellor will meet with prospective students and families, assess academic profiles, and provide guidance on suitable study destinations, courses, and institutions. Daily tasks include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, explaining admission requirements, assisting with application and documentation, and guiding students through visa processes in coordination with internal teams. The role also involves organizing information sessions, maintaining accurate student records, following up with leads, and staying updated on international education trends and policy changes. The counsellor will work closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth, supportive experience for students from initial inquiry to enrollment.

Qualifications

  • Strong Educational Consulting and Education domain knowledge, with the ability to explain diverse international study options clearly.
  • Demonstrated Student Counseling and Career Counseling experience to support learners in defining academic and career pathways.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear verbal and written communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to build trust with students and families, with a learner-focused, ethical, and non-discriminatory counseling approach.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Management, or a related field; advanced study in counseling or education is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in overseas education consulting or study abroad advisory roles is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with common office and communication software tools.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with a team, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and adapt to changing international education requirements.
