Role Description The Sales and Marketing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. This role involves driving sales of Nhu Designs’ upcycled fashion products through direct customer engagement, relationship-building, and effective follow-up. The specialist will plan and execute marketing campaigns, promote the brand’s sustainability mission, and support social media and in-store promotional activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, managing sales records, coordinating with production and design teams, and delivering product and brand training to team members or partners as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills for engaging customers, collaborating with team members, and presenting brand stories clearly.
- Customer Service skills to deliver a positive shopping experience, handle inquiries, and resolve issues professionally.
- Sales skills to meet targets, identify opportunities, and close sales in a retail or fashion-focused environment.
- Sales Management and Training skills to support sales planning, monitor performance, and train staff or partners on products and brand values.
- Interest in sustainable fashion and environmental issues, with the ability to represent Nhu Designs’ mission authentically.
- Basic understanding of marketing channels, including social media and in-store promotions.
- Ability to work on-site in Kathmandu, maintain reliable attendance, and adapt to a dynamic, creative workspace.
- Previous experience in fashion retail, sustainable products, or related fields is an advantage.
