Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based in Kathmandu. The Barista will prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company standards and recipes. The role includes greeting guests, taking orders, answering menu questions, and providing friendly, efficient customer service throughout each interaction. The Barista will handle basic food preparation tasks, maintain a clean and organized work area, restock supplies, and follow hygiene and safety guidelines. The individual will also operate coffee equipment, manage cash or digital payments, and support the wider team to ensure a welcoming, consistent Roadhouse experience.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Barista skills, including coffee brewing, espresso extraction, and drink preparation.
  • Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage guests in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
  • Candidates should possess basic Food Preparation skills and an understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills; familiarity with POS systems is an advantage.
