Job Description

We are seeking a talented, experienced, and passionate Chef with expertise in Thakali and Continental cuisine to join our hospitality team at Ichchha Kamana-4, Lewatar, Chitwan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious, high-quality meals, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation, and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations while upholding the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve authentic Thakali and Continental dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Plan and execute daily menus while maintaining consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Ensure proper food preparation, portion control, and efficient use of ingredients to minimize waste.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management for timely procurement of kitchen supplies.
  • Supervise and guide kitchen assistants and support staff.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly used, cleaned, and maintained.
  • Introduce creative menu ideas and seasonal specials to enhance the guest dining experience.
  • Work efficiently during busy service hours while maintaining high-quality food standards.
Job Specification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef in a hotel, resort, or restaurant.
  • Strong expertise in Thakali and Continental cuisine.
  • Sound knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Culinary certification or hospitality-related training will be an added advantage.
