Role Description The Senior Ticketing Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhaktapur. This role involves handling day-to-day ticket sales and reservations for various modes of travel, ensuring accurate bookings and timely issuance of tickets. The Senior Ticketing Officer will assist customers with itinerary planning, fare queries, schedule changes, cancellations, and reissues, while maintaining high standards of customer service. The role includes coordinating with airlines and travel partners, managing booking systems, verifying payment details, and maintaining up-to-date records and reports. The Senior Ticketing Officer will also guide junior staff, contribute to sales targets, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong ticketing and reservation skills, including Ticket Sales and Reservations, with experience using common booking and GDS systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and Communication abilities to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and external partners.
• Proven Customer Service skills, with a focus on resolving issues promptly and maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Sales aptitude, including Sales skills, to identify opportunities, promote travel options, and support revenue growth.
• Previous experience in a ticketing or travel agency role, preferably at a senior or supervisory level.
• Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple bookings and tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and booking software; familiarity with airline fare rules and policies is an advantage.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Travel and Tourism, Business, or a related field; additional ticketing or GDS certifications are beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Bhaktapur, maintain punctuality, and adapt to flexible working hours as required by business needs.
