ð—ð—¼ð—¯ ð—¦ð˜‚ð—ºð—ºð—®ð—¿ð˜†The Demand Planner is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts and translating market demand into a feasible production and procurement plan for the company's portfolio of FMCG. The role ensures optimum inventory levels, high product availability, minimal stock-outs, and efficient utilization of manufacturing capacity while balancing seasonality, promotions, and market dynamics.
The position plays a critical role in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process by aligning Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance to a single consensus demand plan.

- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual demand forecasts at SKU, brand, pack size, channel, and regional levels.
• Incorporate seasonality, festivals, promotional campaigns, market trends, competitor activities, and historical sales data into forecasts.
• Continuously review and improve forecast accuracy and bias.
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
• Consolidate demand inputs from Sales, Marketing, and Key Accounts.
• Align demand forecasts with supply, production capacity, and inventory strategies.
• Coordinate demand prioritization during supply constraints.

- New Product Launch and Product Rationalisation
• Monitor launch performance against assumptions.
• Support phase-out and liquidation plans for discontinued SKUs.
• Recommend SKU rationalisation based on sales and profitability analysis.

- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. Masters Preferred.
- Minimum 4–8 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or S&OP in FMCG manufacturing.
- Proven track record in managing a large SKU portfolio and multi-plant operations is preferred.
- ð—²ð—°ð—µð—»ð—¶ð—°ð—®ð—¹ ð—¦ð—¸ð—¶ð—¹ð—¹ð˜€:
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Experience in Power BI or other dashboarding tools is desirable.
