Job Summary:The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items while delivering excellent customer service. The role ensures a clean, welcoming café environment and maintains food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company standards
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of the café, coffee machines, and workstations
- Restock ingredients, supplies, and inventory as needed
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are followed
- Recommend menu items and promote special offers
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages
- Handle customer feedback and resolve minor complaints professionally
- Support team members during busy hours and ensure smooth café operations
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage-making techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Basic cash handling and POS system knowledge
- Minimum SEE/+2 completed (Hospitality or related field preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience as a Barista is preferred
- As per company policy and experience or Negotiable
