Role Description The AEO/GEO/SEO Engineer is a full-time, on-site role located in Kathmandu. This position involves designing and implementing search and optimization solutions, focusing on information retrieval, algorithmic efficiency, and data-driven improvements for internal and client-facing systems. Day-to-day tasks include developing and refining software components, optimizing search and ranking algorithms, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating with legal and technical teams to align solutions with business requirements. The engineer will document technical work, participate in code reviews, and continuously improve tools and processes to enhance system reliability and performance.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Information Retrieval and Data Science, including experience with search systems, data analysis, and performance optimization.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Computer Science and Algorithms, with a focus on problem-solving, complexity analysis, and efficient data structures.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Software Development, including coding, debugging, and maintaining applications in one or more modern programming languages.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Kathmandu, collaborate within cross-functional teams, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with SEO AEO and GEO concepts, data-driven optimization, and experience in an outsourcing or service-oriented environment is an advantage.
