Job Description
Job DescriptionOur Client, White Feathers Jewellery Pvt. Ltd. is hiring Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will lead and oversee all financial operations of the company, including financial planning, accounting, taxation, compliance, budgeting, and cash flow management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, leadership skills, and in-depth knowledge of Nepalese financial regulations and taxation.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor and manage company cash flow and working capital.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth.
- Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of accounting records and documentation.
- Review ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Ensure timely closing of monthly and annual accounts.
- Manage VAT, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Nepal Financial Reporting Standards (NFRS).
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and statutory reports.
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets.
- Analyze costs and identify areas for optimization.
- Develop and implement financial controls and risk management systems.
- Supervise, guide, and mentor finance and accounting team members.
- Coordinate with other departments on financial matters.
- Ensure effective implementation of financial policies and procedures.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or related field.
- CA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), MBS, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- At least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience in retail, trading, jewelry, or FMCG industry is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation in Nepal.
- Proficiency in accounting/ERP software.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
