Job Description
Panchakanya Group is one of Nepal's leading industrial conglomerates, with over five decades of excellence across manufacturing, infrastructure, renewable energy, and trading. We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as Manager – Corporate Affairs & Liaison.

The Manager – Corporate Affairs & Liaison will serve as the primary operational backbone for the Executive Director. This role demands a high-caliber professional capable of managing the full spectrum of committee coordination, policy engagement, stakeholder liaison, and executive support functions to ensure the smooth and impactful functioning of the Industry Committee at both national and bilateral levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations & Coordination:
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all meetings, working group sessions, and activities
  • Prepare meeting agendas, background briefs, position papers, and post-meeting minutes/action trackers
  • Ensure timely follow-up on resolutions and liaise with relevant departments
  • Maintain an updated calendar, member directory, and documentation repository
  • Policy Research & Advocacy Support:
  • Conduct industry-level research on policy, regulatory, and trade issues relevant to Nepal's industrial sector
  • Draft policy briefs, advocacy documents, white papers, and representation letters on behalf of the ED
  • Monitor government circulars, gazette notifications, and industrial policy developments; prepare executive summaries
  • Support preparation of submissions to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce & Supplies, and other regulatory bodies
  • Stakeholder & Diplomatic Liaison:
  • Coordinate with government ministries, bilateral chambers, trade missions, and development partners
  • Manage relationships with industry member companies, industry associations, and international counterparts
  • Support organization and participation in trade delegations, bilateral meetings, MOU signings, and B2B forums
  • Represent the ED at relevant industry events, conferences, and working groups when required
  • Executive Support & Office Management:
  • Manage the Executive Director's schedule, correspondence, and commitments
  • Brief the Chair on agenda items, prepare talking points and presentations for high-level meetings
  • Handle confidential correspondence and communications with discretion and professionalism
  • Track deliverables, deadlines, and commitments across the committee portfolio
  • Events & Programs Management:
  • Lead the planning and execution of industry-focused seminars, roundtables, exhibitions, and business forums
  • Coordinate with the event secretariat, vendors, sponsors, and media for event logistics
  • Prepare event concept notes, budget proposals, and post-event reports

Required Education Level: Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience: More than 5 years

Other Specification

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy, International Relations, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Corporate Affairs, Government Relations, Public Policy, Industry Associations, Trade Organizations, or related fields.
  • Prior experience supporting senior executives, industry chambers, business associations, or government institutions will be highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in policy research, report writing, executive communication, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong understanding of Nepal's industrial, economic, and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Nepali and English.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Note: This role directly supports the Executive Director's responsibilities. The incumbent must be adaptable, discreet, and able to represent the organization with the highest level of professional credibility in industry and government circles.
