The counselor will meet with prospective students to understand their academic background, career interests, and personal goals, and provide tailored advice on studying in Australia. Day-to-day tasks include conducting counseling sessions, guiding students on course and university selection, assisting with application and enrolment processes, and coordinating required documentation. The role also involves providing initial information on visa and migration pathways, maintaining accurate student records, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth experience for each student.
Qualifications
- Strong counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand individual student needs and provide clear, personalized guidance.
- Knowledge of Australian education systems, courses, and universities, and familiarity with basic student visa and migration processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex information in an accessible manner.
- Organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail in handling applications, records, and deadlines.
- Ability to work on-site in Bharatpur, manage multiple student cases, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Prior experience in education consulting, student advisory services, or international admissions is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Business, or a related field is preferred.
