Territory Manager – Endo Surgery (Local Country Hire)

Function: Sales – Endo Surgery Portfolio

Reporting To: Business Head / Country Manager – Endo Surgery


Role Purpose

To drive local country sales execution, market penetration, and surgeon adoption for Meril’s Endo Surgery portfolio by managing day-to-day sales activities, building strong hospital and distributor relationships, and ensuring consistent on-ground execution aligned with country business goals.


Key Responsibilities Sales Execution & Revenue Delivery

Achieve assigned territory / country sales targets for the Endo Surgery portfolio

  • Drive product adoption through direct hospital coverage and distributor coordination
  • Support institutional sales, tenders, and large account opportunities
  • Market Development & Customer Engagement
  • Build strong working relationships with surgeons, OT staff, KOLs, hospital procurement teams, and distributors
  • Conduct regular hospital visits, case support, and product demonstrations
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and new hospitals

Distributor & Channel Coordination

  • Work closely with distributors to ensure effective coverage, secondary sales, and inventory management
  • Support distributor training on product knowledge, selling skills, and compliance
  • Monitor market coverage, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics

Launch & Clinical Support

  • Support new product launches, clinical workshops, and in-OT case support
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Clinical teams for demos, trials, and surgeon engagement programs

Planning, Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market feedback
  • Ensure adherence to Meril’s sales processes, quality standards, and compliance guidelines
  • Support timely collections, billing coordination, and inventory hygiene

What Will You Need

  • Experience 5–10 years of experience in Medical Devices / Surgical / Healthcare sales
  • Hands-on exposure to Endo Surgery / Laparoscopic / Medical Capital products preferred
  • Experience working with surgeons and hospital stakeholders Education
  • Graduate in Medical / Science / Biomedical / Sales or related discipline
  • Relevant certifications or training in medical devices preferred Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Results-driven with good negotiation and influencing ability
  • Comfortable working in OT environments and supporting live cases
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently
