Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Kathmandu. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling and editing raw footage into polished, engaging videos for web, mobile, and other digital platforms. Daily tasks include organizing and managing media assets, selecting and cutting clips, adding transitions, sound, and effects, and ensuring continuity and narrative flow. The role also involves color grading, basic sound adjustment, and integrating motion graphics or graphic elements to align with project goals and brand guidelines. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with creative, development, and marketing teams to understand project requirements, contribute ideas, and deliver high-quality content on schedule.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including organizing footage, assembling timelines, and delivering export-ready files.
  • Experience with Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, professional visual tone across projects.
  • Proficiency in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create or integrate visual elements, titles, and overlays.
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Strong storytelling sense, attention to detail, and ability to follow brand and style guidelines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a collaborative, on-site environment in Kathmandu.
  • Relevant education or training in film, multimedia, design, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating recent video work is required.
