Senior Motion Graphics & Video Editor

Employment Type: Full-time (On-site)

Location: Chabahil, Kathmandu

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Salary Range: NPR 40,000 – 60,000 per month (Based on experience and skills)

Experience Required:

3+ years of professional experience in motion graphics, video editing, and digital content production.

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly skilled Senior Motion Graphics & Video Editor to lead the development of engaging visual content across multiple digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality videos, animations, and motion graphics that effectively communicate brand messages and enhance audience engagement.

This role requires strong storytelling abilities, advanced technical expertise, and the capability to manage multiple projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create compelling motion graphics, animations, and video content for digital, social media, marketing, and corporate communication channels.
• Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos aligned with brand guidelines.
• Develop visual concepts, storyboards, and animation sequences from creative briefs.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to deliver engaging campaigns.
• Lead video production projects from concept development to final delivery.
• Optimize video content for various platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and websites.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Ensure consistency in visual style, branding, and messaging across all content.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and creative techniques.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior editors and motion graphic designers when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Multimedia, Graphic Design, Film Production, Animation, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in motion graphics and video editing.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, animation, and video editing projects.
• Advanced proficiency in:
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Media Encoder
• Knowledge of Cinema 4D, Blender, or other 3D software is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of typography, composition, color theory, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in 2D and basic 3D animation.
• Sound design and audio editing knowledge.
• Experience creating content for social media and digital marketing campaigns.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
