About this Role

This role will focus on supporting the group revenue accounting team in performing various financial tasks across 14 different business units in OMG. You will be closely working with the team’s financial accountant & finance manager to ensure OMGA policies are followed consistently across all the different business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process revenue transfers to ensure accurate allocation across OMGA in line with financial controls and client agreements.
• Review and process accruals and deferrals to ensure revenue recognition complies with accounting standards and internal revenue recognition policies.
• Prepare and post revenue journals, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of month-end close.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and follow up on aged or unclear balances.
• Support the preparation of revenue planning and reforecasts, providing insights and variance analysis where required.
• Review job performance and project status to ensure revenue is recognised appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain and update the client win/loss tracker, ensuring data accuracy to support business insights and reporting.
• Assist in managing and consolidating the revenue pipeline to support forecasting and business planning.
• Contribute to monthly regional and global revenue reporting, ensuring consistency and data integrity.
• Support audit processes (internal and external) and statutory reporting requirements.
• Assist with revenue analysis and preparing management reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and optimisation of revenue processes.
• Assist with bank reconciliations if required
• Assist with AVB reporting if required
• Perform ad hoc tasks, reconciliations, and analysis as required by management.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Degree major in Accounting and/or Finance
• At least 2 -3 years’ experience in a related field
• Semi-qualified CA is highly desirable
• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and procedures
• Intermediate Excel skills
• SQL and power query experience is a plus
