Role Description
This is a part-time, remote position for an Online Tutor specializing in the US Curriculum. The Online Tutor will be responsible for conducting interactive virtual classes, developing customized lesson plans, evaluating student progress, and providing feedback to enhance learning outcomes. The role also includes preparing academic materials, addressing student inquiries, and fostering a dynamic virtual learning environment.
Requirements
- Proficiency in teaching mathematics, science, English, or other core subjects aligned with the US academic curriculum
- Strong virtual teaching and classroom management skills with familiarity in online platforms
- Effective communication, active listening, and presentation abilities
- Adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse learners
- Experience in online tutoring or teaching is preferred, but not required
- Ability to develop lesson plans and assess learning objectives effectively
- Candidates must be able to communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally with students and parents in the United States.
