This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kathmandu for a Senior Counselor (Europe). The Senior Counselor will guide and support individuals in achieving their professional and personal development goals. Key responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, providing career or academic advice, developing customized counseling plans, and facilitating workshops. The counselor will also be responsible for staying updated with best practices and collaborating with team members to enhance service delivery.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
- Expertise in counseling techniques and building customized plans for diverse clients
- Understanding of European educational and professional systems and programs
- Proficiency in research, analysis, and providing informed advice
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of managing client documentation and adhering to confidentiality standards
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Relevant certifications in counseling or mental health practices
- Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds
- Problem-solving abilities and aptitude for empathizing with client needs
- Fluency in English; additional European language proficiency is an advantage
