Role Description

  • Support the formulation and testing of paraffin-based hybrid rocket fuel and additive-enhanced blends.
  • Conduct material characterization and laboratory experiments to study fuel properties, thermal behavior, and decomposition characteristics.
  • Assist in small-scale combustion tests to measure burn rate, regression behavior, flame structure, and efficiency metrics.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret test data using engineering tools and contribute to technical documentation and detailed experiment reports.
  • Work collaboratively with the propulsion, materials, and systems engineering teams to optimize fuel performance and support ongoing R&D activities.


Qualifications:

  • Final-year Chemical Engineering student or recent graduate (B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or related field).
  • Strong academic foundation in thermodynamics, combustion, chemical process engineering, and polymer chemistry.
  • Ability to work with chemicals, lab tools, and small-scale testing equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good documentation and technical writing skills.
