Job Description
Role: Interior DesignerWe are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming interior spaces into functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environments by assessing space requirements and selecting essential and decorative items.
Key Responsibilities- Project Development: Manage interior design projects from concept through to completion, ensuring all designs align with the client’s vision and functional needs.
- Space Planning: Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings to communicate design intent effectively.
- Material Selection: Source and specify furniture, lighting, flooring, wall coverings, and hardware that meet high standards of quality and style.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design packages, including technical drawings and material schedules, for contractors and vendors.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure design integrity is maintained throughout the build process.
- Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new materials, and sustainable design practices.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D rendering software (such as V-Ray, Enscape, or Lumion). Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign) is a plus.
- Design Sense: A strong portfolio demonstrating a mastery of color theory, spatial arrangements, and various design styles (Modern, Minimalist, Luxury).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present ideas to clients and collaborate with site teams.
- Project Management: Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
