Job Description

Reporting To : Head-After-Sales

Location : Kathmandu, Jorpati

Role Overview :

The EV Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between EV customers and the service center. This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while managing vehicle intake, diagnosis coordination, repair tracking, and delivery. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience from roles such as Service Advisor, PDI Engineer, or Floor Supervisor in the automotive or EV sector, and demonstrates proficiency in reporting and MS Office tools.


Responsibilities:

Customer Interface & Service Consulting

▸  Greet customers, understand their service/repair concerns, and document vehicle complaints accurately.

▸  Explain technical issues in non-technical language and advise customers on necessary services, estimated timelines, and costs.

▸  Provide proactive communication through the entire service cycle – from vehicle drop-off to delivery.

▸  Handle customer feedback, complaints, and escalations professionally to ensure satisfaction.

Workshop Coordination & Floor Supervision

▸  Coordinate with technicians and workshop team to ensure timely diagnosis and repair.

▸  Monitor floor operations, prioritize job cards, and manage workshop throughput efficiently.

▸  Ensure compliance with EV safety protocols during servicing, charging inspections, and battery handling.

▸  Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) as required, verifying vehicle condition and quality standards before handover.

Documentation & Reporting

▸  Prepare and manage job cards, service estimates, invoices, and warranty documentation accurately.

▸  Maintain service logs and generate daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports using MS Excel.

▸  Track parts requisition, vehicle status, and pending jobs using the Dealer Management System (DMS).

▸  Coordinate with the spare parts team to ensure availability of required components.

Technical Oversight

▸  Leverage EV technical knowledge to assist in accurate fault identification and work allocation.

▸  Stay updated on OEM service bulletins, software updates (OTA), and high-voltage system advisories.

▸  Support warranty claim processing, ensuring documentation aligns with OEM guidelines.


Qualifications

▸  Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.

▸  Additional certification in Electric Vehicle Technology or HV (High Voltage) Safety is an advantage.


Work Experience :

▸  2–4 years of relevant experience in the automotive/EV sector across any of the following roles:

–    Service Advisor at an OEM dealership or independent service center

–    PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Engineer

–    Floor Supervisor / Workshop In-charge

▸  Hands-on exposure to EV platforms (BEV) is preferred.

▸  Experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as NAV/ERP
