Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Engineer/ Junior Engineer Trainee for our Customer Care- Commercial Vehicle Segment at Nepalgunj with the following requirements:
Job Description:
- Receive job card from Service Advisor and allocate the job to the technician.
- Punch all job cards and spare parts requirement in the ERP system. Ensure all information punched in the system is accurate and error free.
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm findings with service advisors for approval to repair or replace unit.
- Issue pre-requisition as per necessity of job for the spare to store and ensure timely supply.
- Check work progress, provide decision for replacement of spare parts.
- Raise work order / letter to machine shop and outside agency for the ancillary works.
- Observation and decision of warranty and keep the records up to date.
- Inspect motor in operation, carryout road trial of motor vehicle and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and locate faults.
- Consult Service Advisor for any additional jobs required which is noticed during the process of repair work.
- Advice customers on work performed, general vehicle condition, its technical aspects and future repair requirements.
- Mention details of the job done in job card and handover to Service Advisor.
- Maintain good relationship with customer.
Competencies Required:
- Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering with 1- year of experience.
- Knowledge of customer preferences and national and international trends in Automobile industry.
- Knowledge of workshop management, policy, procedure and norms.
- Good leadership and communication skill.
