Job Summary
The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and building strong client relationships to drive company growth. This role involves cold calling, field visits, market research, and coordination with internal teams to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cold calls and follow-ups to generate new business leads.
- Plan and execute field visit marketing to meet potential clients.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop business strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain a database of clients, leads, and business opportunities.
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams for smooth service delivery.
- Gather market intelligence and competitor analysis.
- Handle client inquiries, negotiations, and closing deals.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
- Experience in logistics/freight industry is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Candidate must have two wheeler Driving license and own vehicle
