Expert Education is a global leader in international student recruitment and education consultancy. As we continue to expand our global footprint, we are seeking a highly motivated and articulate Lead Development Representative (LDR) to join our Marketing Team.
This is a pivotal entry-level position designed for a candidate who excels in communication, lead qualification, and relationship management.
The Lead Development Representative serves as the primary point of contact for prospective students. You will be responsible for managing initial inquiries via social media channels and conducting outbound discovery calls to qualify and nurture leads. Your objective is to ensure that every prospective student receives professional guidance and is then seamlessly transitioned to the appropriate global branch for specialised counselling.
- Inquiry Management: Monitor and respond to high-volume inquiries across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) with professional and timely correspondence.
- Lead Qualification: Conduct outbound calls to prospective leads to assess their eligibility, academic background, and study preferences.
- Relationship Nurturing: Build rapport with prospects, providing essential information regarding global study opportunities to maintain engagement throughout the initial funnel.
- Strategic Routing: Accurately document lead data and assign qualified prospects to the relevant Expert Education branch offices worldwide.
- Performance Tracking: Meet and exceed daily targets for call volume and lead conversion rates.
Candidate Profile
- Exceptional Communication: Mastery of the English language is essential, with an emphasis on professional writing and confident verbal communication.
- Persuasive Capability: Strong salesmanship qualities with the ability to handle objections and convince prospects of the value of our services.
- Agility: A fast learner capable of internalising complex information regarding international visa regulations and university requirements.
- Experience: Prior experience in Education Consultancy or Sales is preferred; however, highly motivated fresh graduates possessing the required soft skills are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with business messaging platforms (e.g., Respond.io, Trengo, or similar CRM/Chat tools) is highly preferred.
