Overview:


As a Video/Motion Graphics Editor, you will play a pivotal role in the creation of captivating visual content that engages and inspires our audience. You will bring together your expertise in video editing, motion graphics, and storytelling to produce high-quality videos that effectively convey our brand message and drive viewer engagement. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creative flair, and proficiency in video editing software to deliver polished, professional content across various platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Video Editing: Edit raw footage into compelling, cohesive video content that aligns with project goals and brand guidelines. Trim, rearrange, and enhance footage to create seamless transitions, captivating narratives, and visually appealing sequences.

  • Motion Graphics Design: Design and animate motion graphics elements, including titles, lower thirds, transitions, and visual effects, to enhance video storytelling and engagement. Utilize animation software (e.g., After Effects) to bring static graphics to life and add dynamic elements to video projects.

  • Storyboarding and Conceptualization: Collaborate with creative teams to develop video concepts, storyboards, and visual treatments that effectively communicate key messages and evoke desired emotions. Translate creative briefs into actionable video plans, ensuring alignment with project objectives and audience preferences.

  • Audio Editing and Mixing: Enhance video projects with high-quality audio elements, including music, sound effects, and voiceovers. Edit audio tracks, synchronize sound with video footage, and adjust levels to achieve optimal clarity, balance, and impact.

  • Color Correction and Grading: Apply color correction and grading techniques to enhance the visual aesthetics of video content, ensuring consistency, mood coherence, and brand alignment. Adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, and color balance to achieve desired looks and convey specific atmospheres.

  • Quality Assurance: Review and refine video projects to ensure technical accuracy, visual coherence, and overall quality standards. Conduct thorough quality checks to identify and address any errors, glitches, or inconsistencies before finalizing deliverables for distribution.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with creative directors, producers, writers, and other team members to coordinate project timelines, provide creative input, and address feedback and revisions. Communicate effectively to ensure clarity, alignment, and cohesion throughout the production process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Multimedia Design, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a video editor and motion graphics designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse video projects.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D).
  • Solid understanding of video production processes, including shooting, editing, compositing, and post-production workflows.
  • Creative vision, artistic sensibility, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends in video production and motion graphics.
