Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu for Counselors specializing in Australia and Canada. The role involves providing personalized academic counseling to prospective students, guiding them in choosing suitable courses, universities, and career paths. Responsibilities include managing education application processes, offering visa counseling, supporting pre-departure preparations, and maintaining relationships with students and partner institutions. Counselors will also ensure that students are well-informed and prepared for studying and living abroad.
Qualifications
- Strong academic counseling and guidance skills, with the ability to assist in course, university, and career selection.
- Proficiency in managing education application processes and providing visa and pre-departure counseling.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and institutional partners.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Knowledge of academic systems and visa processes for Australia and Canada is highly desirable.
- A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in an office environment.
- Experience in international education consultancy is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Education, Counseling, or similar disciplines.
