Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics & Banking Executive to oversee our end-to-end supply chain operations and financial documentation. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between physical distribution and the banking requirements of international trade, ensuring that goods move efficiently while all legal and financial protocols are strictly met.
Specifications & Requirements
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven working experience as a Logistics and Banking Executive.
- Track Record: Demonstrated success in distribution management and logistics optimization.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in standard logistics management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to liaise effectively across various departments and external partners.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Resilience: Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Mobility: Possession of a personal vehicle is highly preferred.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Logistics & Operations Management
- Strategic Planning: Manage and optimize logistics, warehouse operations, transportation, and customer service protocols.
- Lifecycle Coordination: Direct and streamline the full order cycle to ensure timely delivery and cost-efficiency.
- Inventory Control: Supervise inventory accounting; maintain accurate records of stock levels, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Warehouse & Routing: Catalog goods systematically, arrange warehouse space, and plan optimal transport routes for processed shipments.
- Stakeholder Relations & Communication
- Negotiation: Liaise and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
- Collaboration: Act as a central point of contact for logistics technicians, customer service representatives, and quality personnel to ensure information flow regarding shipments.
- Reporting: Compile and distribute carrier and route assignments; provide regular status updates on shipments to stakeholders.
- Banking & Compliance
- Documentation: Utilize specialized knowledge of import logistics and banking documentation.
- Financial Instruments: Manage and process trade finance instruments, specifically Letters of Credit (LC) and Telegraphic Transfers (TT).
- Compliance: Ensure all shipping and banking activities align with international trade regulations and company policy.
