Job Description
We are looking for a Digital Designer to produce high-quality production design across digital and print formats for global B2B clients.

This is a systems-driven design role where you’ll execute creative direction, maintain brand consistency, and use AI-powered tools to improve speed and output quality within structured design workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Client Design Delivery

  • Produce on-brand design assets across digital and print formats (social media, banners, email, presentations, infographics, reports, ebooks, whitepapers)
  • Execute layouts, typesetting, and production artwork based on briefs, wireframes, and creative direction
  • Create error-free, production-ready files for digital and print use
  • Adapt and resize creative assets across multiple formats and channels
  • Support campaign execution with fast-turnaround design deliverables

Design Systems & Production Workflow

  • Work within established design systems, templates, and brand guidelines
  • Maintain consistency across multiple client accounts and brand profiles
  • Test and refine templates, components, and production workflows developed by the Melbourne team
  • Identify gaps in design systems and flag improvements or inconsistencies
  • Document production processes, file structures, and reusable design components

AI-Assisted Design

  • Use AI tools (Figma AI, generative design tools, automation workflows) as part of daily production work
  • Leverage AI to improve speed, scalability, and consistency of output
  • Participate in testing new AI-driven design workflows introduced by the team

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Work closely with the Design Director across time zones
  • Provide clear status updates via project management tools (e.g. Teamwork)
  • Communicate proactively on capacity, blockers, and brief clarifications
  • Act on feedback efficiently and continuously improve output quality

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of professional design experience (agency, studio, or in-house marketing team)
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, grid systems, and visual hierarchy
  • Ability to execute creative direction into polished production design
  • Experience producing assets across digital and print formats
  • Portfolio demonstrating clean, structured, production-ready design work

Tools: Figma (required – primary design tool), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations, Adobe Acrobat for PDF production and proofing, basic After Effects skills for motion design (preferred), and AI design tools including Figma AI and other generative/automation workflows.
