We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and drive bulk and recurring orders from general, corporate clients and businesses of all sizes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential business opportunities, pitching our curated gifting catalog, and building strong relationships with corporate firms, businesses, and retail partners.



Key Responsibilities:



1.Corporate Gifting Strategy & Lead Generation

  • Develop and execute a strategy for launching and growing the corporate gifting vertical.
  • Identify and acquire corporate clients, especially HRs, procurement heads, and key decision-makers.
  • Create tailored sales pitches, negotiate contracts, and close bulk gifting deals.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline through outreach via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and events.



2.Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate clients.
  • Build long-term relationships by understanding client gifting calendars, preferences, and budgets.
  • Provide post-sales support, track repeat orders, and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through smooth communication and on-time delivery.



3.Proposal & Quotation Handling

  • Prepare customized gifting proposals and pricing based on client requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for personalized gift hampers and corporate branding.
  • Ensure timely submission of quotations and follow-up to drive conversions.



4.Order Execution & Campaign Coordination

  • Oversee end-to-end execution of bulk and customized gifting orders.
  • Liaise with packaging, logistics, inventory, and creative teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Manage timelines, order accuracy, and special client instructions.



5.Market Research & Trend Monitoring

  • Stay updated on corporate gifting trends, festive calendars, and competitor offerings.
  • Suggest innovative gift ideas, packaging solutions, and personalization options.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to run targeted sales campaigns for lead generation.



6.Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, conversations, proposals, and closed deals.
  • Analyze sales data and share weekly reports on performance, pipeline, and client engagement.
  • Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in the sales cycle.



7.Event & Networking Engagement

  • Represent the company at relevant HR summits, B2B expos, and networking events.
  • Build brand visibility and grow the corporate client base through active engagement.



8.Client Retention & Account Expansion

  • Work on building loyalty through consistent service and meaningful gifting experiences.
  • Explore new opportunities within existing clients to expand order size and frequency.



Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or corporate partnerships (gifting, retail, or e-commerce experience is a plus!).
  • Strong negotiation, networking, and communication skills.
  • Proven track record in closing deals and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and drive business expansion.
  • Experience in sales strategy and revenue growth.
