Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Video Editor based in Kathmandu. The Video Editor will be responsible for producing, editing, and refining high-quality video content, with a strong focus on social media platforms. Day-to-day tasks include video editing, color grading, motion graphics, and creating engaging short-form and long-form video content. The role also involves ensuring all outputs align with brand identity and current digital trends. Collaboration with creative teams to develop ideas, execute concepts, and deliver impactful visual stories is essential.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in video production and editing workflows
- Strong experience in editing social media videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts, ads)
- Skills in color grading and motion graphics (animation is a strong bonus)
- Basic knowledge of graphic design and visual storytelling
- Familiarity with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar
- Strong understanding of current social media trends and content styles
- Attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of storytelling, pacing, and engaging video formats
