Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Mergers & Acquisitions Lead / Senior Manager to drive Chaudhary Group’s inorganic growth agenda. This role will play a pivotal part in identifying, evaluating, and executing high-impact investment and acquisition opportunities across diverse sectors and geographies.

The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, deal execution expertise, and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders, while leading end-to-end M&A transactions from origination through integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, including deal sourcing, evaluation, structuring, negotiation, and closure.
  • Identify and originate strategic investment opportunities aligned with the Group’s long-term growth priorities.
  • Develop and review complex financial models, valuation analyses, and investment cases.
  • Drive and oversee comprehensive due diligence processes across financial, legal, tax, and operational workstreams.
  • Prepare and present high-quality investment memos and board materials to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, deal structuring, and transaction documentation in coordination with internal and external advisors.
  • Support post-acquisition integration planning and value creation initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to proactively identify opportunities and risks.
  • Build and manage relationships with investment banks, advisors, partners, and key stakeholders across markets.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to building internal M&A capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • CA / CFA required; MBA in Finance, Strategy, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory.
  • Proven track record of leading and closing M&A transactions end-to-end.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and deal structuring.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders and influence strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
  • Experience in a multinational organization and exposure to cross-border transactions is highly preferred.
