Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and inspect production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks on raw materials and packaging.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards.
  • Perform routine laboratory and on-site tests (e.g., water quality, bottle integrity, seal strength, weight, volume, and labeling accuracy).
  • Identify non-conforming products and initiate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and test results.
  • Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene practices are followed across the facility.
  • Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure calibration and proper use of testing and measuring equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–4 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, preferably in the food, beverage, or bottled water industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory requirements (HACCP, GMP, ISO standards).
  • Basic understanding of laboratory testing procedures and quality control techniques.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and inspection processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) for reporting and documentation.
  • Training or certification in food safety or quality management systems will be an added advantage.

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in inspections and documentation.
  • Ability to identify non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Good documentation and report-writing skills.
  • Knowledge of testing equipment, calibration, and maintenance procedures.
  • Understanding of sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards in manufacturing facilities.
  • Ability to conduct audits and coordinate with regulatory authorities.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Strong observation skills and ability to work under pressure in a production environment.
