About Asseti

Asseti is a leading intelligent condition management and asset performance platform. We combine automation, data intelligence, and engineering rigour to support industrial and real-asset owners globally. Our teams operate across USA, Australia, South Africa and Nepal, working in close partnership to deliver world-class outcomes for our customers.

The Opportunity

This is a senior leadership role for an experienced operational executive who thrives on building high-performance teams and running complex, multi-functional operations at scale.

As Country Manager, you will lead Asseti's Kathmandu hub, a critical operational centre of 100+ people spanning data operations, quality assurance, HR, finance, and business support. You will be the most senior leader in-country, owning the full people, operations, and compliance strategy, and reporting directly to the global CEO.

This is not a technical execution role. You will have a strong Data Lead and Data Operations Manager in place to own the technical delivery; your focus is on creating the conditions for those teams, and the wider organisation, to perform at their best.

What You Will Do

Operational Leadership

  • Own the end-to-end performance of the Kathmandu operation, including throughput, quality standards, turnaround times, and cost efficiency.
  • Design and implement scalable operating processes, KPIs, and productivity frameworks across all functions.
  • Maintain clear accountability structures across team leads, ensuring every function has defined targets and reporting cadences.
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks; continuously improve processes to meet the demands of a rapidly scaling business.

People & Team Management

  • Lead, develop, and performance-manage a 100+ person organisation through a layer of functional managers and team leads.
  • Drive recruitment strategy and workforce planning to support Asseti's growth targets.
  • Build a strong performance culture with high expectations, clear feedback, meaningful development pathways.
  • Champion employee wellbeing, engagement, and retention; ensure the Kathmandu office is a place people are proud to work.
  • Ensure full compliance with local employment law, HR policy, and Asseti's global people standards.

Global Stakeholder Management & Reporting

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the Kathmandu hub and Asseti's global leadership team.
  • Report regularly to the CEO and executive team on operational performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Asseti's global Product, Engineering, Operations, and Finance leads to align priorities and support cross-functional delivery.
  • Translate global business goals into clear operational plans for the in-country team.

Compliance, Safety & Risk

  • Ensure the Kathmandu operation meets all local regulatory, legal, and compliance obligations.
  • Oversee data security, confidentiality, and information governance standards in line with Asseti's global policies.
  • Proactively identify and manage operational risks, escalating appropriately to global leadership.

Requirements

Essential

  • 7+ years of experience leading large-scale, multi-functional operations (BPO, shared services, SaaS, or similar environments).
  • Demonstrated success managing 100+ person teams through managers, with strong operational and people leadership discipline.
  • Proven experience building and scaling teams, implementing enterprise-grade workflows, and driving measurable performance outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable presenting to and influencing senior global executives.
  • Strong written English for global collaboration and reporting.
  • Experience establishing and reporting on operational KPIs and business metrics.c

Advantageous

  • Background in technology, SaaS, or data-intensive service environments.
  • Familiarity with data quality frameworks, workflow automation, or operational analytics.
  • SQL, Excel, or BI tool proficiency for performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Experience in industrial, infrastructure, or real-asset sectors.

Benefits

You will step into one of Asseti's most strategically important leadership roles, responsible for the people, performance, and culture of a high-output operational hub at the heart of our global business.

You will have genuine autonomy to shape how this operation runs, direct access to Asseti's executive team, and the resources to build something excellent. As we scale, this role will grow with us.

We offer competitive compensation, meaningful performance incentives, and a rare opportunity to lead a growing, globally connected operation within a fast-scaling SaaS company.
