Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure and software development processes, ensuring our systems are secure, efficient, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security best practices across our infrastructure and software development lifecycle
• Evaluate current infrastructure and workflows to pinpoint areas for cost reduction and efficiency enhancement, ensuring operational expenses are minimized while maintaining performance and reliability standards
• Implement and enforce best practices for security, reliability, and scalability
• Develop and maintain automation scripts, tools, and workflows to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes
• Collaborate across teams to nurture a culture of shared responsibility and document infrastructure for efficient troubleshooting and knowledge sharing
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system administration. Strong experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS
• Strong hands-on experience in designing and managing AWS infrastructure, with a focus on scalability, high availability, and reliability
• Proficient in scripting and automation using tools like Bash, Python
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Bitbucket CI/CD, AWS Code Pipeline
• Experience with configuration management tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK stack or Newrelic/Prometheus/Grafana
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
