Job Description:
- Kitchen Operations
- Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations and overall food production.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to established recipes and standards.
- Supervise food preparation, cooking, and plating during service hours.
- Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef.
- Team Supervision & Training
- Supervise, guide, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain productivity and discipline.
- Train junior chefs and kitchen assistants on cooking techniques, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Schedule kitchen staff shifts in coordination with the Head Chef.
- Quality Control & Hygiene
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor the cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment, and storage areas.
- Inventory & Cost Control
- Assist in inventory management, stock rotation, and proper storage of ingredients.
- Coordinate with purchasing to ensure the timely availability of ingredients.
- Minimize food wastage and support cost control initiatives.
- Menu Planning & Innovation
- Assist in menu development, new dish creation, and seasonal menu planning.
- Suggest improvements to recipes and presentation styles.
- Support special events, banquets, and customized menus.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor's in Hotel Management or relevant.
- 10+ years of Experience in the reputed hotel industry.
